I call myself a photographer in training. I inherited my love of photography, and "the eye" for a well framed picture, from my mother and her father in turn. After struggling with the cost of "wasting" film for many years, I'm in love with the modern wonders of digital photography. Digital media has made it possible to explore my point of view and embrace this love with less restraint. I present the results here for you to enjoy.

I'm drawn mostly to the structure and details in the world around me. Whether man made or made by nature, I continue to find a myriad of interesting aspects to be explored. One just has to look for them.

My explorations with the camera are often done spur of the moment. In the style of taking my camera for a walk, without a tripod or additional light source. Therefore 99% of the images captured are done with a handheld camera and natural light. I'm not trying to fool they eye or create a certain look. My goal is to bring to you what I see, as I see it.
